I know its tempting. Take a look at the front cover to Newsweek magazine. “America’s First Gay President” — Really? That cover is there for a reason. The New York/LA media moguls want you to see that and go ballistic. They want everyone on all sides of the issue to be enraged and focused on the Presidential election so that — they can make all the more money from the nearly $2 billion that will be spent at the top of the ticket.
But guess what?
It will hardly matter next January — COMPARED TO who is sitting in the US Congress. No kidding. Presidents come and go every four to eight years. Congress (sadly) lasts for a lifetime. Please, don’t take the bait. Join us in staying focused on Article One — the project to fix Congress FIRST. Every prayer, every time you tell somebody about Congress first, every dollar contributed all add up to real hope and real change.
